Ammon News - Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Khasawneh received on Sunday his Palestinian counterpart, Mohammad Mustafa, at the Prime Minister's Office in Amman.

During the meeting, Khasawneh stressed Jordan's continued efforts under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II to support Palestinian rights and immediately stop the brutal Israeli aggression against Gaza, and move to a political horizon that guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with full and complete sovereignty, on the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The two parties chaired an expanded meeting that included ministers from both brotherly countries to discuss strengthening bilateral relations in various fields, and agree to hold a meeting of the Jordanian-Palestinian Joint Higher Committee soon.
