The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth had published information indicating that understandings had been reached with Jordan regarding Al-Adwan's punishment for smuggling hundreds of weapons through the Karama crossing. "Israel has reached understandings with Jordan that Amman will punish the MP for his attempt to smuggle hundreds of weapons, in return for the Israeli prosecution's refusal on Sunday to request an extension of his detention, and thus he will be released", according to the newspaper .

Ammon News - The Israeli Army Radio said Sunday, that Jordanian MP Imad Al-Adwan will be released and handed over to Jordan for trial there, after canceling his military court session and expiring his detention period.

The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth had published information indicating that understandings had been reached with Jordan regarding Al-Adwan's punishment for smuggling hundreds of weapons through the Karama crossing.
