Therefore, moderate weather conditions will prevail in much of the country, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be warm, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update. A further rise in mercury levels is forecast on Thursday, bringing warm conditions across the Kingdom, the JMD added. On Friday and Saturday, mercury will drop a few degrees, but warm weather will persist in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, while it will be pleasant in other regions, the JMD noted. Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 24 degrees Celsius and a low of 10C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 33C, sliding to 19C at night.
