This growth was due to the increase in the number of tourists arriving to the Kingdom by some 292, 400 visitors, reaching a total of 504,000, compared to the same month in 2022, the CBJ figures revealed. Meanwhile, Jordanians' spending on tourism abroad rose during January 2023, by 109.1%, to reach $148.4 million, compared to its level during the same month in 2022, which reflects an increase in the number of Jordanians traveling abroad by 96.4%, the data indicated.
