Relatively cold weather, light showers expected Wednesday

Ammon News - A slight drop in temperatures is forecast on Wednesday, bringing cold and partly cloudy conditions with scattered showers in the northern, central, and parts of the southern regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

The weather department issued alerts about frost formation, slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall, and poor horizontal visibility over the highlands due to dense fog.

Similar weather will persist on Thursday, with light rainfall in the northern part of the Kingdom, and northeasterly to northwesterly winds.

Fair, sunny weather will make a comeback on Friday with a slight rise in mercury levels.

Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 11 degrees Celsius and a low of 0C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 19C, sliding to 8C at night.
