Ammon News - Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Sinan Majali, said Sunday that research teams and cadres in Turkey are still searching for two Jordanian brothers who lost contact with them after the earthquake that hit Turkey, while the ministry reported that a Jordanian girl was under the rubble that had not yet been removed.

Majali added, in a televised intervention, that the cases related to Jordanians reported by the ministry since the earthquake, respectively, were the first for a young man who was found on the first day, and he is currently in good health and returned to the homeland.

This young man was on a visit to Turkey and was staying in a hotel that was damaged by the earthquake, and he was rescued, Majali said.

As for the second case, it is for two brothers, one of them resides in Turkey while the other was on a visit with his brother and the contact with them was cut off.

The third case is represented by information received by the Ministry regarding a Jordanian girl who lives with her non-Jordanian mother, who contacted her ex-husband in Amman and informed him that the building in which they were staying had collapsed, and their daughter was still under the rubble.

As for the fourth case, it was reported about one death of a Jordanian woman who was residing with her husband, who does not hold Jordanian nationality, and was buried in Turkey.
