Ammon News - A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Sunday, bringing chilly and partly cloudy weather conditions across the Kingdom, with scattered showers in the western region, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Light snow flurries are also forecast in the early morning hours over the southern high peaks of Al-Sharah mountain range.
Additionally, the weather service issued alerts about slick roads, and poor horizontal visibility over the highlands and the Badia due to dense fog and frost formation.

As for Monday, mercury levels will rise a few degrees but cold conditions will persist, with clouds at various altitudes and southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD predicted.

Toward Tuesday afternoon, the Kingdom will be affected by unstable weather conditions, triggering cloudy skies with spotty showers in various regions, the JMD further said.

Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 9 degrees Celsius and a low of 0C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 19C, sliding to 9C at night.
