Ammon News - Temperatures are forecast on Saturday to be below their seasonal averages by about 2-3 degrees Celsius, and the weather will be cold almost nationwide, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.

In its report, the JMD warns of the danger of frost formation in the early morning hours over the hilltops and desert areas, and possibility of fog formation over mountains.

On Sunday, the weather will remain unchanged with northwesterly moderate winds.

As for Monday, a slight rise in temperatures is forecast, and the weather will remain cold almost countrywide.

Also today, temperatures in Amman will hit 11 degrees Celsius, dipping to 1C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 20C, sliding to 9C during night hours.
