PM: Jordanian aid aircrafts set to arrive Syria, Turkiye Wednesday

Ammon News - In implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah II's directives to provide humanitarian aid to people affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkiye, Prime Minister, Bishr Khasawneh, said Jordanian aid aircrafts are scheduled to start arriving Wednesday to the two countries to contribute to alleviating the disaster's impact.
Speaking during a Lower House session today, PM said Jordanian land convoys loaded with drugs and medical supplies will set off Thursday for brotherly Syria and Turkiye to contribute to alleviating impact of this humanitarian disaster as much as possible.
Khasawneh expressed Jordan's sympathy with the earthquake victims in brotherly Syria and Turkiye, wishing the injured a speedy recovery, voicing hope that efforts to search for survivors will be successful.
In addition, PM expressed thanks and appreciation for Jordanian private sector's support in providing aid and donation of "large" quantities of medicines and medical supplies to contribute to dealing with the earthquake impacts, within convoys run by Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) under His Majesty King Abdullah II's directives.
Regarding the government's efforts to follow up on conditions of Jordanians in the quake-affected areas, Khasawneh said Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates is doing its utmost efforts to follow up on this issue, as it has opened operation rooms that work round the clock.
