Home Jordan News Two earthquakes rattle south-central Turkey 06-02-2023 09:35 AM Ammon News - The Jordan Seismological Observatory (JSO) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Monday recorded two earthquakes measuring 7.5 and 6.2 on the Richter scale in south-central Turkey/Gaziantep and north of Adana. According to JSO President Ghassan Sweidan, the first earthquake, recorded at 4:16 am Amman time, occurred at a depth of 10 km, 590 km away from Amman, and was felt by the residents of the Kingdom. The second was recorded at 4:28 am.

Ammon News - The Jordan Seismological Observatory (JSO) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Monday recorded two earthquakes measuring 7.5 and 6.2 on the Richter scale in south-central Turkey/Gaziantep and north of Adana.
