Muhaidat reassured, in a statement received by “Ammon” on Sunday, that all the medical supplies produced by the company that manufactures this drop or the company distributing it are not registered with the institution, by referring to the database of medical supplies registered with the institution. This came after the warning issued by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) against using contaminated eye drops increases the risk of eye infections that may lead to blindness or death.

Ammon News - Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), Dr. Nizar Muhaidat, explained that EzriCare Artificial Tears, for which a warning was issued, are not registered with the Administration and therefore are not circulated in the Kingdom.
