Jordan witnesses hail Tuesday, especially in north of Amman

Ammon News - Several areas in the north of Amman, witnessed heavy hail Tuesday morning.
Since the early hours of dawn, the Kingdom has been affected by a very cold and humid air mass associated with an air depression centered in the north of the island of Cyprus.
The Jordanian Meteorological Department (JMD) warned of:
- Danger of torrential rains and rising water levels in valleys and low areas in the north and center of the Kingdom, including the Dead Sea.
- Danger of strong wind speed and strong gusts accompanying it.
- Danger of low horizontal visibility, especially in the desert areas, due to dust.
- Danger of slipping on roads in areas with precipitation.
- The risk of low horizontal visibility due to clouds touching the earth's surface over the mountain heights.
