Relatively cold weather forecast for Monday

Ammon News - Relatively cold weather conditions are expected to prevail in the highlands, while it will be pleasant in other regions, as temperatures mark 5-6 degrees above the seasonal average, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Monday.

Clouds at various altitudes are also forecast to appear, with southeasterly moderate winds, the JMD added.

On Tuesday, a slight drop in temperatures is forecast, bringing relatively cold weather in much of the country until Thursday, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be pleasant, with clouds at different altitudes, the JMD noted.

Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 18 degrees Celsius and a low of 6C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 23C, sliding to 13C at night.
