Ammon News - President of the Senate Faisal Fayez met separately with Ambassadors Hassan al-Dahab of Sudan and Jorge Canelo of Chile on Wednesday to discuss cooperation and issues of joint interest.

Fayez spoke about Jordan's firm stance toward various regional issues and efforts to settle conflicts and enable the region's people to live in safety and security.

He praised the high level of ties with Sudan and Chile, noting a need to further advance them in parliamentary and economic fields.

For their part, the two envoys lauded Jordan's pivotal role in bringing about peace, safety, and security in the region. They reiterated their countries' pride in relations with Amman and commitment to boosting economic partnerships and activating bilateral agreements to serve joint interests.
