On the recommendation of the House's Legal Committee, which looked into several violations leveled against the MP, 92 of the 110 deputies present at the session voted to dismiss Al-Fayez. The committee said that in addition to breaking the parliamentary code of conduct, Al-Fayez broke the bylaw of the legislature by failing to attend House meetings, violating the legal oath, and unlawfully collecting House-provided allocations while absent.

Ammon News - The Lower House of Parliament on Wednesday voted to dismiss MP Muhammad Al-Fayez for violating parliamentary and diplomatic norms and offending the Kingdom and its reputation by publishing and sending a letter to an Arab country.
