Ammon News - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, with relatively cold weather conditions prevailing in much of the country, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, where it will be pleasant, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds at low altitudes are also forecast to form in the northern region, with northwesterly moderate to active winds, the JMD added.
In its report, the JMD warned of poor horizontal visibility in the early morning hours over the highlands and parts of the Badia areas due to heavy fog, and of frost formation during the late night hours.
A further increase in mercury levels is forecast on Wednesday, bringing sunny and relatively cold conditions in most regions until Friday, the JMD noted.
Temperatures in the capital Amman today will range between a high of 14 degrees Celsius and a low of 3C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 22C, sliding to 12C at night.
