74,000 visit tourist sites during Eid al-Adha holiday

Ammon News - A total of 73,624 people visited tourist and archeological sites in the Kingdom during the 4-day Eid al-Adha holiday that took place from July 9 to 12.

According to a statement released Thursday by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Aqaba received 9,200 visitors, followed by Wadi Rum with 6,000, Ajloun with 5,500, Mount Nebo with 4,600, Jerash with 3,700, and Petra with 1,500, with the remainder distributed to other sites.

In a statement issued before the Eid holiday, the ministry stated that it had established a plan to provide visitors with round-the-clock services.
