Traffic accidents killed 4, injured 61 during Eid al-Adha holiday-PSD

Ammon News - 17 traffic highway accidents killed 4 people and injured 61 during Eid al-Adha holiday countrywide, due to drivers' non-compliance with traffic rules and priorities, the Public Security Department (PSD) announced on Wednesday.

A number of "unjustified" speed violations were registered during the Eid al-Adha vacation, referring to nabbing two drivers, who drove at a speed of 212, 183 kilometers per hour on Queen Alia International Airport highway, respectively, the PSD added.

On the other hand, the PSD announced a vehicle driver's failure to follow traffic safety precautions killed a mother and her child, who were run over in Sahab district.
