Ammon News - A man admitted to killing his two young daughters and burying them in the backyard of the family house in the northern Ramtha District, a spokesman for the Public Security Department said Tuesday.

According to the spokesman, a non-Jordanian woman reported to the Ramtha police that her allegedly mentally ill ex-husband has been abusing and beating their four children, and that she fears for their lives.

After receiving the report, the police moved to the family's home and detained the father. However, they only found two children a boy and a girl who confirmed that their abusive father had killed their two sisters, ages 9 and 12, and buried them in the backyard.

The man admitted to the investigators that he had beaten his two daughters to death and buried them in his yard in the past ten days.
