Ammon News - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, on Friday, met with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and discussed means of enhancing bilateral ties between the two brotherly countries, in addition to a number of Middle East region issues.
During a meeting in the eve of the Lebanon-hosted consultative meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers, Safadi voiced Jordan’s support to Lebanon and its people to overcome challenges facing the brotherly country.
Safadi stressed that protecting Lebanon and its stability is a priority and a necessity for the security and stability of the region.
Mikati praised efforts made by His Majesty King Abdullah II to support Lebanon and Jordan's historical stances in supporting Beirut and its stability, stressing the depth of the brotherly relations between the two countries and peoples.
