Egypt, Lebanon expresses condolences over victims of Aqaba toxic gas leak

Ammon News - Egypt expressed condolences to the families of the victims of the gas explosion in the port of Aqaba on Monday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

According to a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, the Egyptian government and people conveyed their condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for all the injured.

Egypt stressed its support for the government and the people of the Kingdom.

Similarly, in a phone call with Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati offered condolences to the victims' families, expressing Lebanon’s solidarity with Jordan and wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

President of the Arab Parliament Adel Asoomi stressed the parliament’s solidarity with Jordan, expressing faith in the Kingdom’s ability to overcome the incident with minimal losses.
