IPA launches USAID-funded training management platform

Ammon News - Jordan's Institute of Public Administration (IPA) on Sunday launched electronic training system (TMS) for training management , under its development plan, which was being implemented since 2019.

Funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the project includes the axis of IPA's digital transformation and its services automation, according to its statement.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, the IPA's Director General, Siham Khawaldeh, said the institute began to take "successive and significant" steps to achieve a "distinguished" position regionally and globally, adding that development is a continuous approach that requires unrelenting and continuous action and research.

The IPA, Khawaldeh noted, is keen to keep pace with all global and rapid developments in various training fields and is also keen to overcome all challenges and difficulties to achieve the desired goals.

Electronic training system (TMS), which was implemented in cooperation with USAID Good Governance Practices by Local Administration in Jordan, aims to manage and regulate the training process and facilitate its activities for all government departments, beneficiaries and trainers, Khawaldeh pointed out.


The system is a "turning point" and would lead to launching e-services in the future, which would have a positive impact on developing efficiency of the training process, she noted.

The IPA screened a video on the TMS's features and its most important applications, in addition to reviewing the trainers' expertise in using this technology, who lauded its user-friendly traits, its role in simplifying procedures, as well as IPA's services development, the statement said.
