The deal was inked by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh and Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Sikela. In a statement, Kharabsheh said the MoU stipulated cooperation in planning, politics, and energy demand anticipation using economic models, in addition to collaboration in electricity, sustainable energy, and energy efficiency through focusing on energy rationalization and expertise exchange on smart grids. The two governments, the minister noted, will also cooperate in the fields of industrial minerals, remote sensing technology, geophysical studies, expertise exchange in mining, and conducting technical studies to evaluate and explore minerals. Discussions took place in a meeting attended by Czech ambassador in Amman Joseph Kotski and a number of Czech officials.

Ammon News - The Jordanian and Czech governments on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to cooperate in the energy and mineral resources field.
