Court sentences public servant 3 years in prison, dismisses another for corruption

Ammon News - The Anti-Corruption Judicial Authority at the Amman Court of First Instance Monday decided to remove a public servant from office and handed another employee three years and three months in prison for corruption.

The court convicted the employee of exploiting their public office and the misdemeanour of intentionally accessing the information system without a permit or in violation or exceeding the permit by adding data and decided to fine him JD950.


It also decided to convict another employee of the felony of exploiting their position and to criminalise them with the two misdemeanours of attempting to fraud and accessing the information system without a permit or in violation or exceeding the permit by adding data and decided to place him in temporary work for a period of three years and three months and a fine of one JD1,150.
