Jordanian Duty Free Shops signs new ten-year contract for border and seaport stores

Ammon News - Jordanian Duty Free Shops (JDFS) has signed an exclusive agreement with the government of Jordan to run border and seaport shops in the country for another ten years, moodiedavittreport reported.

The company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has a significant presence in the market, with more than 20 border shops and a downtown diplomatic shop in Amman. It serves more than 7 million travellers a year.

CEO Haitham Al-Majali said: “We appreciate the trust that the government has given us once again to continue as the exclusive duty free operator for land borders and seaports. Our staff has prominent experience in the travel retail sector, and has always showed nothing but professionalism dedication. Our sales team has always focused on better serving our customers from all over the world with premium products, and we will continue to do so for the next ten years.”
