Blistering weather to prevail countrywide, with advice to avoid sun exposure

Ammon News - Temperatures on Sunday are forecast to be 7-8 degrees above annual average, bringing dry and blistering weather nationwide with high altitude clouds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly moderate, causing dust in the Kingdom's southern and eastern regions, which leads to low horizontal visibility.

According to the JMD report, the weather on Monday and Tuesday will remain dry and searing countrywide, with northwesterly moderate winds.

Today, temperatures in Amman will range between a high of 37 degrees Celsius and a low of 19C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a blistering 40C, sliding to 25C during night hours.
