Ammon News - Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Nayef Al-Fayez met with Cypriot Deputy Tourism Minister Savvas Perdios, in the presence of Cyrpriot Ambassador to Jordan Michalis Ioannou, Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat and Tourism Minister’s adviser Hisham al-Abbadi.

During the meeting in Amman, which President of the Jordan Hotel Association Abd Al Hakim and President of the Jordan Restaurants Association Issam Fakhr Eddin attended part of it, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries to activate intra-tourism and increase the number of tourists in light of the cancellation of all health measures imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the return of tourism and travel to its normal levels.

Al-Fayez reviewed Jordan's experience in the field of developing tourism trails in archaeological and heritage sites.
For his part, Perdios reviewed his government's experience in establishing environmentally friendly parks, hotels and restaurants.
