"Today is the day of the held-high foreheads decorated with the emblem of the Arab army, the day our brave soldiers snatched victory in the epic of Al Karamah, and achieved glory that will be engraved in history. May God have mercy on our martyrs and protect our armed forces as a shield and a fortress for our beloved country," King Abdullah said in a tweet posted on his official Twitter account on Al Karamah Battle 54th anniversary.

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF), on Monday recollected the Al Karamah Battle on its 54th anniversary.

"Today is the day of the held-high foreheads decorated with the emblem of the Arab army, the day our brave soldiers snatched victory in the epic of Al Karamah, and achieved glory that will be engraved in history. May God have mercy on our martyrs and protect our armed forces as a shield and a fortress for our beloved country," King Abdullah said in a tweet posted on his official Twitter account on Al Karamah Battle 54th anniversary.
