Agriculture minister, Egyptian envoy talk trade, export port

Ammon News - Agriculture Minister Khaled Hanaifat and the Egyptian ambassador in Amman Muhammad Samir Sunday had a meeting to discuss the possibility for Jordan to use Egyptian ports for export.

Hanaifat said that Jordan is keen to work in cooperating with Egypt, especially in agriculture and trade, highlighting the importance of streamlining trade measures and restrictions between Jordan and Egypt.

Samir, for his part, underscored the Jordanian-Egyptian "deep-rooted" ties and their regional importance, especially after the meeting of the tripartite summit between Jordan, Egypt and Iraqi, indicating that Egypt is interested in importing from Jordan.
