Unstable cold and cloudy weather conditions will persist on Monday despite a slight rise in temperatures, with scattered showers in the southern and eastern regions, turning into heavy downpours with thunder and hail in some areas. On Tuesday, mercury levels will drop again but similar weather will continue to prevail in most regions, with cloudy skies and westerly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added. Temperatures in Amman today will reach a high of 12 degrees Celsius and a low of 3C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 23C, sliding to 11C at night.
