Ammon News - Israeli forces Tuesday detained 11 Palestinians during search-and-arrest raids across the occupied West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem, and forced a Jerusalem family to demolish their own home.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement that troops stormed the cities of Jericho, Ramallah, El Bireh, Jenin and Arab neighborhoods of East Jerusalem and rounded up the Palestinians, saying they were wanted by the military authorities.

Late last night, Israeli forces ordered a Palestinian family in the East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Silwan to tear down their own house under the pretext it was built without a permit.

As in previous Jerusalem demolitions, local Palestinian sources in Silwan said that the family was told to pay a fine of 13,000 dollars if the building was razed by Israeli bulldozers.
