Rise in temps forecast for three days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures will rise few degrees on Sunday and Monday, bringing fair weather conditions in many parts of the Kingdom, except for the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be warm, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
On Monday evening, clouds at various altitudes will start to build up, making it possible for some light showers in the southern areas of the country, while winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD said.
Mercury levels will continue to increase on Tuesday, becoming around their annual average, so warm conditions will prevail nationwide with clouds at medium and high altitudes and intermittent rain in the southern and southeasterly areas. Winds will be easterly moderate to brisk, stirring dust at times, the JMD added.
Maximum and minimum temperatures will hover between 17-8 degrees Celsius in Amman, 13-5 degrees in the northern cities and 15-4 in the southern governorates. In the port city of Aqaba, the weather will be hotter with highs reaching 28 and lows dropping to 15 degrees.
