Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Spring-like and pleasant weather conditions are expected to prevail on Tuesday in most parts of the Kingdom, except for the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea where it will be warm, with clouds at various altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

The department expected colder evening nationwide with northwesterly moderate winds.
Temperatures will slightly on Wednesday, but similar weather conditions will persist with low-altitude clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD noted.

A further in mercury levels is expected on Thursday, becoming 3-5 degrees below their annual average and bringing relatively cold weather in the hilly areas, while it will be fair in the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD further said.

Clouds at low altitudes are also forecast with a chance for light showers in the northern and central regions.

Maximum and minimum temperatures will hover between 20-8 degrees Celsius in Amman, 16-6 degrees in the northern cities and 18-7 in the southern governorates. In the port city of Aqaba, the weather will be hotter with highs reaching 28 and lows dropping to 18 degrees.
