The Hebrew newspaper Ynet reported that the Ministry of Defense of the occupation has initiated engineering planning for the construction of a security barrier along the border with Jordan, with an estimated cost of tens of millions of shekels.

The newspaper also mentioned that the planning process will involve marking out the proposed barrier, implementing data collection tools and technology, taking measurements, conducting soil surveys, and carrying out hydrological surveys.

The Director General of the Ministry of Defense of the occupation delegated the planning responsibility to the Border Directorate and the Engineering and Construction Department in collaboration with the Israeli occupation army.
