Ammon News - The Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) the Arab Army carried out a new airdrop of food aid to the northern Gaza Strip, using two C130 aircraft belonging to the Royal Jordanian Air Force.
The airdrop included aid estimated at about 6.6 tons of basic food supplies as part of the humanitarian and relief efforts made by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to support the people in Gaza, as a result of the ongoing war on the Strip.
The JAF confirmed that they will continue to send humanitarian and medical aid via airdrops and the humanitarian air bridge to the Gaza Strip, which was carried out by Air Force helicopters about a week ago, in addition to land convoys in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO).
This aid aims to help the people in the Gaza Strip overcome the difficult conditions, in addition to the field hospitals continuing to provide their medical and treatment services in the north and south of the Strip.
The number of airdrops carried out by Jordan, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, rose to 124 Jordanian airdrops, and 266 airdrops in cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries.
