Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Interior Minister Salameh Hammad has shed light on the privileges and facilitations the government is offering to children of Jordanian women married to non-Jordanian men.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, Hammad said these privileges include studying in public schools for the basic and secondary levels, receiving the same treatment as Jordanians, obtaining health insurance, owning property, and applying for a driving license according to the laws in force.
He pointed to facilitations for investment, annual residency permits, and acceptance in public universities according to the percentage and terms of competition for registration specified by the Higher Education Council.
By using platforms, the minister pointed to some parties who trivialize these benefits attempting to obtain the Jordanian citizenship, which can be obtained according to specific conditions and regulations and the higher interest of the state.
