Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Public Security Department (PSD) has started the implementation of a comprehensive security, traffic and environmental plan in preparation for the Eid Al Adha to ensure the safety of the Kingdom’s citizens and residents.

According to the plan, the PSD will enhance the presence of its personnel in residential areas, marketplaces, recreational areas, celebration sites and places of worship.

The department called on citizens and residents to take necessary procedures to secure their houses and shops using proper equipment, and to keep precious belongings in safe places.

It will also deploy traffic patrols within areas of traffic congestion, public markets and recreational areas to ensure smooth traffic movement.

The Royal Department for Environmental Protection, in coordination with concerned authorities, will also carry a campaign in markets, shops and places of public gatherings to ensure environmental and health safety.

It will also intensify its campaign in forest areas and places allocated for the sale and slaughtering of sheep to prevent violations committed by some citizens such as slaughtering sheep on public roads and in residential neighborhoods.
