Jordan supports holding emergency meeting on Israel crimes against Palestinians

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan, on Monday, said it supports holding an emergency meeting by the council of Arab League at the level of permanent representatives to discuss the Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinian people.
The meeting comes at the request of Palestine and the support of Kuwait and Egypt, and will be held on Tuesday at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
"The meeting will discuss the crimes of Israel, the occupying Power, against peaceful Palestinian demonstrators, who took part in a march entitled "The Great Return March" on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Land Day on Friday to demand the right of return, in addition to the continuous and dangerous action that Israel is pursuing in the Palestinian territories," Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine Affairs at the Arab League, Ambassador Said Abu Ali, said in a statement.
Abu Ali called for the entire international community and all its institutions to take full responsibility for putting an immediate end to the Israeli crimes and urgently forming an investigation committee to hold the occupation accountable and provide international protection to the Palestinian people.
