Frost formation in the hilly areas and the Badia region at night is also forecast with northwesterly moderate winds. Daytime temperatures expected in Amman for today will reach 10 degrees Celsius, in the northern cities 14, and standing at 8 in the southern parts of the country, dropping down to 4, 3 and 2 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 20 degrees and lows standing at 12, the JMD stated. Similar chilly conditions will also prevail on Monday, with frost formation mainly on the southern highlands and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added. Temperatures will slightly rise on Tuesday, but it will continue to be cold across many parts of the country with southeasterly light to moderate winds.
