The meetings dealt with the strategic ties between Jordan and the United States at various levels, as well as efforts to move the peace process between Palestinians and Israelis forward, and current developments in the region. The meetings were attended by the Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, the Director of His Majesty's Office, and the Jordanian Ambassador in Washington.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty also held separate meetings with U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis, senior adviser to U.S. president Jared Kushner and a number of members of the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

The meetings dealt with the strategic ties between Jordan and the United States at various levels, as well as efforts to move the peace process between Palestinians and Israelis forward, and current developments in the region.
