Prime Minster meets Speaker of Tunisian Parliament

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani Mulki on Wednesday met Speaker of the Tunisian Assembly of the Representatives of the People, Mohammed Al- Nasser.
Talks during the meeting touched on bilateral ties and ways to foster them in the various fields.
Mulki called for global parliamentary initiatives in a bid to restore "previous Mideast status quo" to achieve desired development and prosperity.
The premier also voiced the need to bolster the role of the Arab Parliament to assume a role in resolving regional woes, issues, and concerns and to handle rigorous challenges engulfing the Arab Nation and urged to revive pan-Arab cooperation.
" We direly need the parliamentary diplomacy at global arenas, with eye to diverse international resolutions endorsed, concomitant with lawmakers' consent taken into consideration," he pointed out.
He also underlined the relationship of government with Parliament is based on complimentary work and partnership to serve citizens' interest.
The Tunisian official, on his part, underscored the significant impact of fostering cooperation among pan-Arab institutions, commending development Jordan has witnessed under the King's leadership in the various domains.
"Terrorism threatens our societies, unity and stability," Al-Nasser affirmed, adding the Arab Nation goes through "a historic era and we need to showcase our diverse potentials to achieve economic growth."
