Japan pledges $500m aid for refugees

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Japanese Government has pledged to offer $500 million in new aid for refugees.

This decision comes in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and to face the refugee crisis, resulting from the Syrian civil war.

The Japanese government said it will support countries hosting large numbers of refugees through developmental aid as well as through direct aid to boost self-dependence among refugees.
