EU agrees to €200m in loans to Jordan

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The European Union (EU) on Friday approved a decision to provide €200 million ($222 million) loans to Jordan, according to a statement of the council of the EU.
The loans will be disbursed in two installments, to support the Kingdom's economic stabilization and a substantive reform agenda. The loan will be available for two and a half years and have a maximum average maturity of 15 years, the council said.
The Council added that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) would be signed by Jordan and the EU Commission in this regard.
