Government raises fuel prices

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The government increased the prices of oil derivatives, but kept unchanged the price of a cooking gas cylinder, according to a decision announced by Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Al Qudah.
The decision was taken by the government's pricing committee under the monthly review of fuel prices.
The committee set the price of unleaded 90-octane gasoline at JD0.600 per litre for November, up from the September price of JD0.575, while unleaded 95-octane gasoline will be sold at JD0.780 per litre, instead of JD0.745 and diesel and kerosene was priced at JD0.455 per litre, up from JD0.435.
The price of a cooking gas cylinder was fixed at JD7, according to the amendment, which will be effective tomorrow, November 1.
