King Abdullah instructed concerned officials at the Royal Hashemite Court to provide financial aid to 30,000 needy families across the Kingdom, in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development, which will identify eligible families to benefit from the Royal initiative, based on a database and clear criteria that take into account justice and transparency. The Royal initiative shall also include support to the Ministry of Social Development to enable it to carry out a number of activities during Ramadan, covering various segments of beneficiaries, whether through the government or non-government organizations, that are either managed or supervised by the ministry.
