PM receives NCHR’s report on 2014

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Monday received a copy of the National Centre of Human Rights’ (NCHR) eleventh annual report on the condition of human rights in Jordan for 2014.

During a meeting with Chairman of the NCHR's Board of Trustees and President Mohammad Bakhit, Ensour stressed the importance of such reports in supporting efforts of the state in enhancing human rights in the Kingdom.

The prime minister pledged that the government will examine details of the report, affirming the government's interest to follow up and ensure sustainability of relations and partnership with the NCHR.

His Majesty King Abdullah II said yesterday as he received the report, that all concerned parties, public and private, should work together to build on the previous accomplishments in the field of civil, political and social rights.
