King concludes two-continent working visit

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, Thursday concluded a two-continent working visit that took him to Indonesia, the U.S. and Canada.
In Indonesia, King Abdullah attended the Asian African Conference, where he delivered a key-note address on the importance of solidarity between Asia and Africa to bolster the position of the two continents on the international arena. The King also met with heads of states and delegations taking part in the summit.
In San Francisco, U.S., the second leg of his tour, King Abdullah met with businessmen and heads of top US companies, where he highlighted the investment opportunities provided by Jordan to investments as well as its safe investment climate.
After the US, the King flew to Ottawa in Canada for talks with the governor general of Canada, the Canadian prime minister on bilateral ties and the latest developments in the Middle East. The King also visited the Canadian Defense Ministry.
Further, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced more than $120 million in additional aid to the Kingdom, to help it address the ramifications of the Syrian crisis, the Syrian refugees as well as improving border security and military capabilities.
