Ammon News - The Israeli army is continuing its preparations to reopen the Rafah crossing on the Egyptian-Gaza border soon, with the aim of allowing the movement of Palestinians in and out of Gaza.
According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, the reopening of the crossing is part of the ceasefire agreement announced by Trump, and will be implemented after receiving official approval from Benjamin Netanyahu's government.
According to the arrangements, Gazans wishing to leave will undergo remote inspection procedures via a computerized system, while those entering the Gaza Strip will be subject to a physical search by Israeli forces at an additional checkpoint inside the Strip.
Haaretz indicated, citing its source, that European forces will participate in managing the crossing.
