65,000 Visitors to Umm Qais by the End of Last September

Ammon News - The number of visitors to the archaeological village of Umm Qais in Bani Kenana District, Irbid Governorate, during the first nine months of 2024 reached approximately 65,000, including both local and foreign tourists, compared to the same period last year, which recorded 76,236 visitors.

The number of foreign tourists was 13,143, while the number of Jordanian tourists reached 51,862 during the first nine months of this year, according to statistics obtained by Petra.

The tourist and archaeological sites in the city of Umm Qais witnessed a decline in the number of both domestic and foreign tourists compared to last year by approximately 11,230 visitors.
