Countries announce Tuesday first day of Ramadan (names)

Ammon News - The countries of the Islamic world began to announce the date of the holy month of Ramadan successively after the sun set in the eastern Islamic world.

The Sultanate of Brunei announced that Tuesday, March 12, is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, due to the inability to see the crescent moon from several locations in the Sultanate.

Malaysia also announced that it was not possible to see the crescent moon and that Tuesday, March 12, is the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

Australia was the first country in the world to officially announce that Monday, is the completion of the month of Sha'ban, and that Tuesday, March 12, is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan in Australia.

Jordan is expected to observe the crescent of the holy month after sunset on Sunday, to officially announce the start date of Ramadan.
